For our office in Borssele (NL), we are looking for a:

Senior Project Manager  

Are you an experienced Project Manager who effortlessly navigates between technology, teams, and deadlines? Do you enjoy steering complex projects in the right direction while bringing people along with you? Then we’re looking for you!

As a Senior Project Manager, you bring structure, clarity, and energy to our technical projects. You know what it takes, speak the language of both engineers and clients, and ensure everything runs smoothly – from the first sketch to final delivery.

Your responsibility

In this new role, you will be the central point of contact for all projects. Once a project is sold, you take on the coordinating role. Typically, three to four projects run simultaneously. Our customers operate worldwide. The machines are built, assembled, and tested in our own workshop using a modular approach. After that, the machine is shipped and assembled on-site, where it is commissioned.

• You are the central point of contact within the project;
• Main contact for the customer;
• Internal communication with all stakeholders (sales, project engineers/designers, procurement, production manager, finance);
• Keeping all parties informed about the project status;
• Monitoring planning and budget;
• Coordinating transport and commissioning;
• Commercial responsibility for any additional or reduced work during the project;
• Documenting all agreements;
• Ensuring project quality in all phases, both internally and externally;
• Visiting customers and, if needed, being present during project commissioning;
• Providing guidance to Technicians and Project Engineers (indirectly);
• You report to the Director of Operations.

Your profile

For this challenging position, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager. Ideally, you have experience at a similar SME machine manufacturer. You are an excellent communicator, a strong discussion partner, and skilled in planning and organizing. You bring:

• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering & Management;
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in machine building or the manufacturing industry;
• Knowledge and experience with ERP systems (preferably Ridder);
• Familiarity with reporting and dashboard tools (e.g. Power BI);
• Experience with planning/project management software;
• Solid technical knowledge in reading and evaluating technical documents (P&ID, specifications), CE certification;
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English (spoken and written), German is a plus;
• Accuracy, proactiveness, helicopter view, communication and organizational skills are key traits that describe you.
